THE ILLUSTRATED BOOK OF PIGEONS WITH STANDARDS FOR JUDGING by Robert Fulton and edited by Lewis Wright, published by Cassell, Petter, Galpin & Co. London, Paris, New York. Late 1800's This hardcover book measures 11" x 8.5" with 392 pages. The cover and spine are nicely embossed with heavy gilt; cover is decorated with two pigeons. There are fifty life-like chromo plates from paintings by F.W. Ludlow; they are absolutely beautiful! ..This book is not available. I'm just showing this book as for the one of most desirable pigeon collectible books known. If you happen to find one of these rare books in good condition, they can range in prices of up to $500.00 or more. They have excellent color plates of various pigeons.
